Like… you go on some quest, traveling around the globe, looking for this tangible item. Everyone’s soul would look different though. Fred’s could be a specific bench in Central Park. Alicia’s could be a handful of fresh snow in Somesnowyplace. Goku’s could be a collection of orange starred balls. A song. A scene. A something.
The more I write about this, the more stupid I feel. I was going to approach this from my own controlled angle: “oh, maybe Kris’s is a person.” That’s dumb, right? Everyone everyone everyone EVERYONE says that no one needs a person to be happy. Some say you need God, or you derive happiness from within yourself. But what did Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle teach us? Good guys win when they have friends, friends who will kill Demi Moore with a sneak attack. What did Sai eventually learn after being in Team 7 with Sakura and Naruto (it’s been a while, hope my references are right)? Friends make life better. There’s a third example that I’m blanking on… Damn, bet it was profound too. Oh well.
What do people do when they end up finding their soul?
Maybe mine is in California. Maybe mine is on the moon. Maybe mine is in Florida. Maybe not.
